While rents soar, and the govt chooses to keep LHA frozen, @jrf-uk.bsky.social's latest Oct 24 COL tracker shows that for low income private renters on housing benefits:
- 82% are going without essentials
- 62% are paying more than 40% of their income on rent
- 19% are in arrears with their rent
