Seconding this! Best new book I’ve read this year. The tainted cup is also a good book in that sort of mystery/fantasy vein.

My understanding (from this) is that the republicans need to introduce it for a vote sometime today, and that’s when the point of order happens. The dems don’t raise it first so it hasn’t happened yet.

Long short of it, because it doesn’t comply with Byrd, they will have to introduce that part of the bill on the floor for a vote. The Democrats will raise a point of order and then it leads to a vote. It’s a process but the Republicans have to bring it up first
