A busy first day as your Mayor-elect: early morning interviews, transition announcements and meetings. More to say on all of it tomorrow.

But a highlight was lunch with my Congresswoman @aoc.bsky.social at Laliguras Bistro in Jackson Heights.

NYC is a wild ride.

We need someone in charge who has experience, integrity and real solutions to:
👊fight corruption,
❎end wasteful spending,
🏘️build affordable housing, and
💪stand up to Donald Trump

All while keeping their cool.

I’m Brad Lander, and I’m running to be your next Mayor.

Excellent decision to choose @preetbharara.bsky.social for this. This dysfunction is widespread, not limited to NJ. We need a thoughtful investigation that identifies root causes and proposes workable solutions.
