My doc Radical Love presented by The New Yorker about the radical chic attorney couple Michael and Eleanora Kennedy, feeling more relevant in these past few weeks. #filmsky #documentary

If you're seeing One Battle After Another and want a deeper dive, PTA was inspired by the stories of Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn for the French 75 resistance fighters in his film. Hear their incredible story of activism in my film Radical Love

Hi fellow screenwriters and filmmakers. I have an outlining method I’ve used for years using inspiration images and story beats into a full page grid that helps visualize the story. And I’ve made an easy to use app, Scenely! If you want to to give it a try DM me. Thanks! #scriptsky #filmsky

Wow. I’ve got a whole new respect for Jason Isaacs using his current spotlight to call out the absurdity of our current administration
Ah, he never disappoints.

At the early stages of a new documentary project that I’m so excited about that feels timely and urgent and checks all the boxes for what I’m passionate about. More to come…

I directed some commercials in Kiev about 8 years ago and this was a gift from the local production company Workshop I was working with. As true then as it is now. Fuck Putin, film and support Ukraine. 🇺🇦

Want to go visit the national parks this year?
Sorry.
The reservation system is shut down, EMT personnel are gone, so don't get hurt or lost. No one can clean the bathrooms or cabins, so they'll be closed. Rangers are fired.

Tokyo! What a fantastic city in every way. Vibrant, friendly, a perfect mix of modern and historical, and an amazing food scene.

I was hoping to return to Sundance this year but this isn’t exactly what I had in mind. If you’re one of the lucky ones attending catch me in the screenings pre roll

I’m miles away in mid-city and can see the flames from my house. The wind is howling and it’s not letting up. My heart goes out to everyone being affected tonight by the fires.

Thanks to the Philosophical Research Society and Film Forum LA for hosting a centennial celebration of Taylor Mead tonight. I had the privilege of getting to share a few stories and read some of Taylor’s poems. As Taylor would always say, “Please no paparazzi!” 📸

I really enjoyed A Complete Unknown way more than I was expecting to. There’s nearly 30 Dylan songs performed and Mangold never loses narrative momentum. Chalamet put in the work and makes the movie. Ed Norton as Pete Seeger feels so honest. But Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez - wow!!!

A whole other lifetime ago I remember talking to Jaleel about what they were gonna name the band. TV On The Radio were so different than anything else happening. So passionate, poetic and punk. Over the years they’ve grown to become one of my all time favorites. Grateful for their friendship & music

Watching the Yacht Rock doc on Max and had no idea Toto’s “Rosanna” is about Rosanna Arquette. Of course it is! She’s always been cool.

I finally get to share this ridiculously fun spot I directed and made with a bunch of my extremely talented friends for the Doritos Super Bowl competition. Had a blast and taking our shot at a million bucks! #filmsky

Missing Veselka in New York as the days get cooler. Any recommendations for polish restaurants around LA for some pirogies, borscht and blintzes?
