Shake to launch! This stupid thing ended up working way better than I expected. Finally taking advantage of some of the phone’s weird hardware too. This will be able to launch arbitrary ZapScript so you can make shake do anything, not just launch random games #Zaparoo

My retro style NFC reader IS DONE! It takes credit card style NFC cards and game cartridges with an embedded NFC tag inside. Find the model on Makerworld, which includes the card reader, game carts and an insert for Cassette cases. Please enjoy. makerworld.com/en/models/19...

Probably spent way too much time on this but it was always on my todo list. Now cores and scripts (and videos) all launch pretty much seamlessly. They all handle cleanup as needed. The “video cards” feel just like running games now #Zaparoo

Some improvements for the video launching on MiSTer. Still can’t play videos that are too high res but a little less page tearing. More importantly it works a lot more like high a core seamlessly starts and stops! #Zaparoo

This will also be in the next #Zaparoo release. A new type of reader driver that can accept any mass storage device as a token. That means SD cards, USB sticks, hard drives etc. will basically work like NFC cards. This one is launching a random Genesis game each time you plug it in (RIP USB port)
