UK, she/they, Bi, 💜, much swearing and awkwardness
Yoongi.

(This is all the energy I can muster at this time. The group dynamics of my new class are kicking my behind. As individuals, they are lovely. As a cohort, they are yampy. I'm already in bed at 8.43pm - I still love and appreciate you all 💜)

Sideways, with a cactus.
Fuck them all.

For the first of my #MonthlyMusicMoments, I made a three hour round trip to see And So I Watch You From Afar play at Gloucester Guildhall.

A post-rock/math-rock four piece from Northern Ireland, I have seen them twice before. Last night was their best showing though, because the crowd was *on it*

First day with full school attendance 🫥

I'm soothing myself by listening to Boredoms because it's somehow calmer than the inside of my head.

I love my job, I love my job, I love my job, it'll be fine once I get there, I love my job, the kids are great, I love my job, I love my job, I love my job, tomorrow is just a teacher training day, I love my job, I love my job, I love my job, you're contributing to society, I love my job....

Something I forgot to mention yesterday:

The cafe at the Tate is a meltdown inducing nightmare realm designed by a pox-addled ignoramus with the social and emotional intelligence of a saucepan.

If you have sound sensitivity, prepare accordingly, send your normie in, or avoid altogether.
I went #Namjooning at Tate Modern yesterday, seeing Do Ho Suh's 'Walk the House' exhibit for the second time.

It was even more astonishing than I had remembered.

He's clearly quite mad, but in the loveliest, most positive way.

It's running until October 26th. I recommend in the strongest terms.

*Minor Rhetorical Rant*

WHEN THE FUCK IS THE UK GOING TO SORT OUT THE FUCKING WIFI ON THE FUCKING TRAINS?!?!?!? IT SHOULDN'T BE THIS FUCKING HARD TO WATCH A VIDEO IN THE BIG YEAR OF 20 FUCKING 25.

(I'm trying and failing to watch the TaeKook replay while travelling back from London)

OK, this is really cute of them.

Yes, yes, he's beautiful, stunning, ethereal, etc.

All I can think, though, is that those trousers better be lined because I'm about to have secondary sensory overload.

Due diligence has been done, case files have been consulted, and I'm ready to make a bold statement.

This is the Boongiest the boy has ever been.

Scrolled too fast and thought this was an ARMY bomb rather than an actual bomb.
The Lithuanian edition of our book on Conspiracy Theories is looking pretty sexy I have to say. It's a really striking cover.

This time, two weeks ago, I was regretting not getting tickets to both nights at the O2.

Alas, I had heavy adulting to do first thing on the Thursday. I could have done it time-wise but not mental acuity-wise.

I have come to realise that I am fully, platonically in love with this man.

No clue if Joonie's in London to see Jin, but Koya's just been spotted on the tube.
August 5, 2025 at 3:54 PM
FUCK YOU, UTERUS! AND NOT IN THE GOOD WAY!

Throwing me a surprise period as I'm waliking out the door to travel to London for Jin is diabolical work.

Anyway, I'm on my way, see some of you in a few hours!

Myself plus any two of Jinnie, Yoongi, and JK (maybe even Hobi these days?); any kind of cooking challenge.

Language barrier aside, even if i don't know how to do something myself, I would be a pretty good sous chef.

I think I've fixed it. Enough to be wearable, though nowhere near the standard I expect of myself.

And now, to make dinner finally. At gone 11pm.

Does anyone fashion-y know if this is a complete look from somewhere, or if he curated a fit that was a little bit like lederhosen, for a German interview, himself?

My tom-princess dungarees toile for Jinnie at the o2 didn't turn out as I had hoped, so I'm having an internal tantrum.

Alt: Baby Groot is standing on a rocky surface having a yelling and foot-stomping tantrum. The screen cuts to black with the text, "37 minutes later." Baby Groot is still having a tantrum and then abruptly collapses face first onto the ground.

No one can complain much about 87, but this had me reeling a little today.

Thank you to Allan and Janet Ahlberg for being so fundamental to my childhood.
