Just a guy who likes pizza, some anime, being a hermit, and dunking on capitalists
So America is poised to become a combination of the British empire and Nazi Germany, and I gotta keep finding the small things in life to keep me from going insane like, I have to use up old emergency food in case of hurricanes and I'm absolutely digging using canned tuna in makeshift poke.

Crazy that Democrats folded in Congress over the government shutdown, letting millions of Americans suffer insurance payment hikes, on the hope that they could campaign on it in the midterms, when all they had to do was wait for Trump to invade another country so they can run on impeachment instead.

Kinda hit me like a ton of bricks when I realized how to articulate it: Generative AI art feels so lifeless and sloppy because it's ultimately approves by humans; humans who don't understand art, are using technology to imitate art, and saying what it spills out looks like art to their untrained eye

Apparently social media like Tiktok and even Bluesky are trying to hide the fact that Netanyahu is back on American soil, by either showing only posts from months ago or making all the hot hashtags about sports. Meanwhile, there's a reason he's going to Florida and why news sites are attacking Iran.

You cannot convince me that the same people who used to argue "Wikipedia isn't a real source" are not the ones now arguing that ChatGPT or other generative AI is reliable.

I would like to think that I've beaten "seasonal depression" in the sense that the sun going down sooner and the weather getting colder doesn't bother me at all. And yet, it is replaced with "capitalism burn out depression" due to my work dumping a ton of responsibility on me for the holidays.

Just checking, is it okay to "celebrate death" when the President does it? Or is it suddenly okay for everybody to "celebrate death" just because Trump did it? I've got some funny Charlie Kirk jokes if it's good for the gander now that Republicans think they're acceptable to make.

Maybe a super hot #TADC take, but if I was writing it, episode 8 in March would end with Pomni willingly and conscientiously abstracting. And no, I won't be elaborating, I've seen what the fanbase can be like.

How do I uninstall the Hisense TV update? Because it literally only made it worse. The main menu is broken and doesn't scroll through my apps, and it added "We have Pluto TV at home" for no reason.

Jokes on Trump and FIFA, because I just created 20 new Peace Prizes, and I awarded 10 of them to Obama, 5 of them to Biden, 3 to Harris, 1 to Hillary Clinton, and 1 to whoever releases the Epstein file that implicates Trump in a federal crime.

Most years, I try something experimental for Turkey Thursday, based on maybe what I've been cooking that year or new recipes I've learned. This year, I think I smashed it out of the park and it's not even close.

The only thing I'll say now about the shooting of two West Virginia National Guard members in Washington D.C. is: The Trump administration is very, VERY quiet about motive right now. Either they've learned their lesson about quickly assigning blame on their political opponents, or it's much worse.

Oh no, I fear I've unlocked chocolate chip cookies in my cooking skills. This is going to be my downfall.

"Oh that's why, because I'm the polar opposite" I say in bed as I look up Narcissistic Hero Syndrome on Wikipedia after recognizing similarities in my professional life.

Okay, not to like predict the future or anything, but a lot of political talk has been thrown around about the Constitution and a third term as President and ways to circumvent, but I think instead of a Constitutional fight to keep Trump in power, we will see a fight to make Mamdani President first.

Hit a snag in the project, but it's something I can overcome tomorrow. Hardware arrived, top coat has the first layer on the first side, so otherwise things are moving smoothly.

For as frustrating as trying to make a hardware order was last night, this morning has helped me get back on track. Did all the noisy drilling I needed, about to start top coating some shelves, plans to do laundry in the middle during drying time, hardware order is out for delivery, good times.

Having a frustrating time trying to get other supplies to finish this project. Lowes canceled my delivery order, then moved a pickup order to a store in a different city, and is sending me mixed signals on if that order got canceled and refunded or not. So far, Home Depot hasn't canceled yet.

Y'all, is it bad for America that our 2016 Presidential election is gonna go down in history in a much different light now that we know both candidates were fighting for not only the top government position, but also fighting over former President Bill Clinton's saxophone? Wind instruments, man...

New desk chair cylinder came today. Something I'm noticing about days off that I want to accomplish stuff is, if a delivery is happening that day, it is super difficult to get my brain in the mood to do stuff if the package is being delivered late in the day or afternoon. I still got stuff done tho.

I feel incredibly on top of things in my life right now. Despite all the setbacks and frustrations, I'm a week and a half away from finishing this year long vague project of improving my furniture quality. I feel vindicated in my work, and satisfied in my pay. And my boundaries stayed in tact.

Hoping the deadline of Halloween tonight and going back to work tomorrow gets my brain in gear to do all the food prep, project work, and chores that I've been putting off while "on vacation".

After a frustrating amount of time and effort, my computer desk has new wheels now. Hopefully the added supports, new sturdier wheels, and over engineering will keep it together for a while longer.

I also cut the rest of the pipes for the AV tower, but I'll keep working on that at a later time.
