The entire bubble surrounding Generative AI is because of the humans pushing it don't understand the art they trained the models on, and don't have any art they hope to convey with it. That's why it feels soulless, not just because it is a machine, but because the people are soulless too.

Also, I definitely get seasonal depression when the sun stays up past 9pm and the weather gets boiling and humid. I guess the problem is just that somebody has to work during the holidays, and that somebody has gotta be me, the one with the most work ethic, and it starts to feel exploitative.
