Character reference for my dungeons and dragons charcter, Iris. She's a halfling chef (badly), just doing a temporary gig as a sorceror to try to see if monster meats could cover up her lack of skill.
I play illusionists all the time, but it's fun to be someone who's NOT in it for real.

my new theory i'm building atm is that cis people are sort of like omnicidal cattle that insist on dragging both you & themselves onto the slaughterhouse conveyer belt repeatedly & you have to pull them off & keep your :) face on the whole time otherwise they get real spooked and do it *even faster*

Every time I make a dungeons and dragons character with even a little bit of spellcasting ability, I always say "No, this time, we're NOT playing an illusionist!"
Then minor image > phantasmal force > major image pipeline and all my characters are wily and devious illusionists. Always.

Final fantasy does be having its gender moments occasionally.
Its kinda nice because Terra definately wasn't designed with that interpretation in mind, the pain of being earnest and open is a universal struggle.
