Keep an eye on Twickets etc nearer the time. It's surprising how often people get overexcited and buy tickets then realise they can't afford over inflated accommodation etc. We couldn't attend a sold out Nick Cave gig due to bereavement and didn't get face value when we resold that way.

It gets worse every year. The radio station we have on in the office has been playing Christmas music every four or five songs and people, supposedly *grown up* people, are getting excited about possibly putting the tree up this weekend.

We saw her live at Hull Uni in early 2023. Bloody brilliant!

I either wear ear plugs or pivot to working from home, or I'll last ten minutes tops on the first. I suppose I could accidentally on purpose tip a cup of tea over the office radio too....

Also it's set in a school, because of course it is.

I saw Akira at a local arts cinema and was blown away. I told a lad I knew about it so he leant me Legend of the Overfiend on VHS, which was a bit of a different vibe.

They do make for an excellent beer (or cider) snack.

Everyone got confused in the nineties because there was a company that distributed anime in the UK called Manga. Some of it was decent enough but a lot seemed to be about big knobbed interdimensional sex demons and spider ladies with vagina dentata.

They're in the same range as the excellent "frickles" (crispy breaded pickles), so I thought I'd give them a go. Last time we had sprouts I roasted rather than steaming them and they were ace.
