Can you please elaborate? He would probably be my preferred candidate to win, I haven’t been impressed with Lowman’s record (and the other candidate.. well…)

Why?

Love going the extra mile for protection on lower-traffic roads! In Bloomington we’re doing a study on Bloomington Ferry Road, but with the way things are going it looks like we might end up with just a MUP and painted lanes.

I called the west one St. Louis Park 🤷‍♂️

Maybe we can hope for some rocks and assorted shrubbery… hopefully not the Bloomington classic stamped concrete

On the web article it says that only some like off highway motorcycles are banned. Confusing headline.

Thanks for the clip. What a wild law - completely banned on roads? Also, “This group of kids came to the side of my car once, and it was just like, weird.”

What’s the context here? Did they completely ban e bikes on roads? I know Edina was considering a sidewalk ban but I hadn’t heard of this.

I may have added that line 😉

why’d the numbering change?

Is the high frequency network still a thing? It’s not on MT’s website or maps. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a June 2025 system map out yet.

It would be great to get a safe bike route all the way to Lake Harriet!

Thanks for the info, I'll have to check it out for myself this afternoon! Might take some before pics of Portland as well.

Is the staircase still the only way up for now? (also, will it be permanent?)
May 30, 2025 at 8:02 PM
Thanks, didn't know there was a way to get down from there! I wish there was a trail southwesterly from Ft. Snelling on the other side of the river was well, but I guess there's some sort of Air Force installation there :(

Where does the detour take you?
May 29, 2025 at 10:47 PM
But things are getting better, with the new-ish Knox Avenue bus/ped/bike tunnel, Nokomis-MN River trail, the 494 project filling in gaps at Nicollet, Portland, and 12th Avenues, and the planned CP Rail Regional Trail
