Joe Nye was my international relations professor long ago, and he has been a good friend for decades. I learned so much from his thinking about soft power, smart power, global security and more. He died yesterday at 88, an enormous loss. RIP, Joe, say hi to Molly and enjoy Heaven’s fly fishing.
