Literally the only thing he has ever said that I agree with is getting rid of the penny. Of course that idea was dropped in a day if not less.

The thing is, there are a lot of really good, honorable people in positions of power in this country. There are smart, dedicated, decent, well-informed, hard working politicians. I am cynical most of the time, but facts are facts.

I'm no lawyer, but it seems like discussing war plans in Signal outside a SCIF is maybe just a little bit worse than using a private server to send emails that weren't even marked as classified. But what do I know.
