It depends on the likelihood of finding the owner. In a city or village, Meliahwyl can easily turn it into who or whatever makes up the local administration. On the road, she'll investigate the area to try and gauge how long the wallet had been abandoned for. If it's a lost cause, well...😏

Having someone she can fully depend on when she's at her worst makes Meliahwyl feel weak because she finds herself breaking down. Like when you're having a bad day and fall apart when someone asks if you're alright, or if you have a guardian in front of whom you struggle to keep composure.

Meliahwyl loves the snow! The somber beauty and quietude of winter is unparalleled.
That said, she also respects it. Snow can be as comforting as it is dangerous. Though snow does not try to be anything - it simply is.
Philosophy aside, she'll happily bounce around in it while Wild Shaped🐺

Genuinely not sure about this one. I think it would have to be an accumulation of things to get her "bad" ending. Wyll malicious reveal, Halsin turning Shadow Druid, every attempt at kindness or bettering the Gate being met with disdain and selfishness, etc.
What would be your Tav'/Durge's breaking point? What would turn them to the path of villainy or redemption (depending on their canon ofc)
Death of a lover? Loss of a family member? Tell mee!

Oh boy. Short answer: I chose, and the more invested I got into the game, the more fleshed out Meliahwyl became as a character. That includes her relationship with Wyll.
Long answer: Through 100% pure coincidence, my favorite characters tend to uhh...be missing an eye. (con't)

Did you, your Tav/Durge/OC's creator/handler/parent, decide who they would romance? Or did your OC choose themselves?

What, you thought I could answer this without a 🧵?
1/?
Courage likes PDA to a point. Handholding, a sweet kiss on the lips or forehead, an arm around the waist or shoulder, even a cheeky butt squeeze are good.

Not exactly the same vein, but Meliahwyl has 100% infiltrated places while in wild shape and pretended to be a clueless dog or cat while being told to get lost, hang around, etc.

I feel like I could spend too long thinking about non-food answers to this, so food it is.
Any type of food which generally takes a great deal of preparation or resources - time, special skills, special ingredients - is a real treat for Meliahwyl. Pastry cream, for example...

Meliahwyl's ability to participate in the politics of whereever she was living was often in part dictated by either the time she spent or the deeds she completed there. In peaceful places, she would take a respectful backseat. In crueler places, she would do what she could, when she could.

A decade after the events of the story, Meliahwyl and Wyll return to Baldur's Gate. Wyll (likely) inherits the Dukedom from Ulder, and they "settle" down to raise Aurora, their newly-adopted tiefling daughter. Before Wyll, Meliahwyl never intended to live in Baldur's Gate full-time again.

Meliahwyl needs to be in control of her environment. Strange for someone who travels to unknown places, right? But what constitutes "control" is nuanced and dependant on context.
The more control over her social environment she has, the more comfortable she is. Her fussing over (con't)

Meliahwyl is an experienced traveler who knows only to carry what's necessary. Traveling light is generally more logical and safe than overpacking.
Also Meliahwyl, shoving every possible spoon, rotten banana, plate, and piece of driftwood into her pockets to sell for scraps of gold later:
What’s something about your Tav/Durge that totally belies their actual personality? i.e. a supposedly violent character collecting plushies?

Meliahwyl takes hygiene very seriously, but, for her, "seriously" is context-dependent. Getting dirty is a regular part of travel and doesn't squick her out, but getting and staying clean as soon as one can is an important part of staying healthy. She doesn't really fiddle with cosmetics.

Meliahwyl will try to gauge the person she's comforting to try to respond appropriately, but her personal first go-to is to make them tea and sit with them, possibly letting them put their head on her shoulder. Her other is to sit with them in wolf wild shape, sitting at their feet (con't)
What's something your tav/durge does to comfort others when they need it?
Mal might seem prickly. But when someone needs a bit of comforting he's usually there with a hug and an offer to get rid of whatever (or whoever) is upsetting his nearest and dearest.
