there's fuzzier edges and more wishy washy overlap but here's my thesis diagram on old man yaoi
a diagram showcasing ages 15-75 with yaoi classifications for each age group. from 15 to early 20s is boy yaoi, from mid-twenties to mid-thirties is yaoi, from mid-thirties to mid-fifties is ossan (middle aged man) yaoi, and from mid-fifties onward is old man yaoi.
