Did these 2 over the last couple of weeks during a life drawing session, but dunno why I dislike them so much ? I see them more as exercises than pieces of art, but go into them wanting to make something better. Need to change something up

i went to a bar yesterday and i chatted to the bass player in this band and i immediately tried showing him a pic of my bass and he was just stood there and i couldn’t find it and it was so weird and awkward why am i like this helllpppp me
