Figuring out where I’m going wrong, thanks to an old geez at the class!!

Did these 2 over the last couple of weeks during a life drawing session, but dunno why I dislike them so much ? I see them more as exercises than pieces of art, but go into them wanting to make something better. Need to change something up

first time life drawing in a while, cursed to always miss the top of ppl’s heads

someone i really admire complimented me on this once and i’ll never forget it

did this on an old door. did some other bits to it in the end but like it more in this state

obsessed with doing these things for a while, lost whatever colours i used for this sadly
