Oh no. The two biggest musical acts from Suffolk (sorry Nik Kershaw, Brian Eno, The Darkness & Benjamin Britten) are wrapped up in a legal dispute.

At school some friends & I put on Fifteen Minute Hamlet, a silly, short farce by Tom Stoppard. We had hundreds of people come see it,more than went to see the official school play, a long, tired rendition of Kindertransport. Stoppard came to see our play. The drama teacher didn't speak to us after.

I know that the Nazism is bad and that he's not really going after the gay man vote, but this jacket/tie/shirt combo and this background should automatically prevent him holding any public office.

A 4G pitch costs nearly £100k in the UK - & I understand 'infrastructure' & costs are different everywhere. But at this scale, $1bn isn't actually a lot, though it's a great clickbait headline figure for a corrupt organisation welcoming murderous fascists to destroy the "world game".

I've been looking for old chimneys in Birmingham that look remotely like the cartoon, flared ones Heatherwick has designed but can't find any. Is the fat tapering form an actual typology or just something he's made up?

Nothing worse than using AI slop in an announcement of what may become an actual building project, for which they don't yet have a site or architect. It's just distracting from the actual news & conversation, turns a proposition into a singular thing, & lowers understanding of architectural process.
