The PA House just passed our bill to fund home repairs for low-income homeowners, including seniors and folks with disabilities—building on the success of the Whole Home Repairs program. Over 18,000 applicants are still waiting.

Next stop: the Senate.

If you live in Pittsburgh, this is on your ballot tomorrow.

It’s a preemptive move to block future campaigns calling on the City to divest from Israel.

It’s dressed up like a civil rights protection — but it’s not. It’s bad faith and it's anti-democratic.

Vote NO on Question 1.

Governor Shapiro said it: Pennsylvania's lack of eviction sealing makes LITERALLY no sense.

An eviction filing, even without an actual eviction, can block families from housing and jobs for years. We fixed this for criminal records with Clean Slate. It’s time to do the same for housing.

The governor is talking about transit right now, and he gets it. $300M for buses, trains, and paratransit means more Pennsylvanians can get to work, school, and essential services.

Reliable transit isn’t a luxury, it’s a lifeline. Investing in it means investing in people.

This man was serving time for violating the federal FACE Act and was pardoned by Donald Trump last week. He’s been known to stop by the clinic where I volunteer. Please contact your state rep if you’re in PA and ask them to either co-sponsor or support @reppowell.com’s PA FACE Act bill.

I’m just going to say that AOC is the acting leader of the Democratic Party until someone proves otherwise. At least insofar as she is responding to the moment with leadership.

I had to look up if there was an equivalent word for “patriotism” for one’s state or commonwealth.

Feeling very section sectionalistic today.
