SS reviewing my grant scheduled to meet March 20. Yesterday saw ERA update with new roster document. But it still feels kinda like
a group of people are riding a boat in the water and one of them is wearing a blue shirt .

I know it’s true for all last-minute firings, but for NIH I have a good sense of what the collateral impacts are.
Some staff work in labs, clinics, the hospital, with important technical, service, and support roles. It’s team-based work with a long time horizon and investment.
Now broken apart.

I am still awestruck by the fact that I sent a little tube in the mail and a company ran 10 million sequencing reactions basically for the cost of dinner and a movie.
