Today is exactly 20 years since the Hunting Act came into force. Many of us were hugely optimistic and had bought fancy new miniDV cameras to enforce the new law. Despite this, we had to wait until 2012 for the first public prosecution of members of a registered hunt!

On Saturday our SW guy had his car wing mirror smashed by one of the followers of the Ilminster Beagles who desperately wanted the filming to stop and for the monitor to leave the area. A report has been made to Avon & Somerset Police.
