My cat has become more clingy lately, always wants me to sit on the bed with him, he lies on the floor at my feet when I am in the kitchen, or he sleeps on the PC desk next to me. I don't mind the company but he is a tripping hazard, and wants me off the PC when I am in the middle of stuff.

I had a nearly 6 hour power outage today. I ended up spending all of late morning and first half of the afternoon reading a book. I have not sat down to just read a book in far too long. I need to get back into the habit of doing it, maybe setting aside one afternoon a week just for reading.

That was absolutely vicious! Website crashes as soon as hotel bookings open. I only got in because someone posted the direct booking link in Telegram. But I got my room for Furpocalypse, so I guess that I am going. If I line up a new job by then, I will tell them this is a pre-planned trip.

well, I did this to myself. I just scheduled an eye exam for tomorrow at 8 AM. which means leaving for the appointment at the time I normally get out of bed. So tonight will be an early night and hope I can fall asleep 2 hours earlier than normal for me

I saw Superman today. Great movie. Even Guy Gardner was not the full on jerk that I had expected him to be. I did know to stay for the post credit scene.

Looks like I have a project for tomorrow. Windows partition won't boot anymore. I do have a working Linux partition, so hopefully I can use it to copy everything from the Windows partition, then I can nuke it. This PC is due to be retired, looks like it has hit end of life.

I am not doing okay today. Far from it. Too much bad news day after day after day. Today's anti-trans ruling is looking like the straw that will break the camel's back for me. I need a major change. Job hunting has gone poorly so far. Bowling meet-up is this Saturday, I need something now.

I played D&D a little but couldn't get into it. Then I played Champions and dived into to fully. I ended up GM'ing the game for 15 years, stopping when life got in the way for scheduling play sessions.
