I'll have another discussion with management see if I can move them into something that's fit for the scale they're at... and away from the comfort of having only 1 platform to check...

I've seen integration through a 3rd party called ChatterBridge that take what's on the WA channel and push it to a Slack Channel, and Slack becomes view only - for orgs where the clients are WA users, great to ensure no message of theirs is missed, allowed record keeping on Slack - not bad.

I'm thinking of a half-half solution, keeping a read-only WA channel to highlight key messages and 📢 "send your invoice" and "enter your availability", with every message ending with a specific Slack channel link for replies - annoying for admins but only way to get some control, order etc. No?

Thanks for the input! There's no Slack currently, it's 100% WA because the org works daily with a lot of 3rd on-demand workers, they're in a country where WA rules, internet can be patchy and slow and overall they believe they can't get workers to adopt another platform for work (am working on that)

I believe institutions decided that trust is not a business model a long time ago and it's only now becoming highly visible that trust is what they dictate either for compliance or to protect themselves legally, so the very common confusion between trust and safety.

There is a long standing belief that advertising absolutely always brings in tons of money at low costs and no problems, whereas subscriptions bring in some money and lots of problems starting with subscribers wanting specific things for their money so bringing in cost. Yes, stupid is enduring.

I thought “releasing” was the entire point of yoga, with the conservative discreet option to do it in a heated room to hide the tears amongst the sweat. Did I miss a memo? You’ve got it fine tuned, clearly. Now pass me the tissues, please.
