I do it like this. It's not very practical, but at least it produces a clean mesh. I don't like the array modifier method most tutorials use

Was having trouble making an enemy chase the player using nav agent, so I had to write my own "pathfinding" system. It's very basic and not optimized at all, but at least it works! #gamedev #indiedev #solodev #godot #horrorgame
