but if you are wanting to, even if only for shorter airport lines or lines at borders, then may be helpful to have interviews when you may be traveling down the road for convenience sake.

may be worth applying for nexus if you don’t have already - makes things more minimal interaction with customs since they do so much background work on whether or not you should be allowed in. you’d have both a US and Canadian interview once they do the prelim look into you.
