Winter bike gear time is upon us. The snow isn't really sticking & the fleece was probably overkill, but I don't love getting pelted with wet snow when I'm riding. #yycbike

My bike is literally always covered in coffee I've spilled while riding on bumpy roads cuz I refused to stop having coffee on my rides & I also often forget my to go mug. I had just cleaned the last spill when I spilled again today.

Don't usually do the daycare run anymore. This hill is still fun to fly down. Ev didn't want the cover on yet & thankfully it wasn't super cold..pogies are on & they really are the best.

There are many issues with 5 St cycle track, but one major one is that the light cycles are too short. We should have walked it, but she's usually capable. By the time she got up the hill, the walk signal was already counting down & we had to turn back. This is not 5A infra @calgary.ca

Picked up some cheap lights and attached them to the cargo bike. I'll let you know how they hold up over the season. I'm also going to try to get down to MEC to grab some spoke lights. #yycbike

She wanted to wear her winter helmet & boots this morning to ride in. Ended up being one of the warmer mornings. These rides are the best part of my day. 🥹 #yycbike
