I put this to you, Bluesky: As a kid, all recipes were baked at 350 for an hour. Now everything is put in the oven at 425 for 25-35 minutes. Did we just get less scared about food poisoning, or did we realize we were making everything dry and tasteless?

Been having a lot of Thoughts and Feelings™ about my body between long-Covid, diabetes, chronic migraines, and having my appendix poison me and need emergency surgery to remove, and all of it happening in the last year (-migraines) means tbh I’ve felt kinda betrayed by my body and not sexy at all.

Been having a lot of Thoughts and Feelings™ about my body between long-Covid, diabetes, chronic migraines, and having my appendix poison me and need emergency surgery to remove, and all of it happening in the last year (-migraines) means tbh I’ve felt kinda betrayed by my body and not sexy at all.
Woke up having aggravated the slipped disc in my lower back IN MY SLEEP. Few things make you feel older or more broken than waking up hurting when you didn't go to bed hurting.

I love all the saucy posting and artistic lewds shared here but I've been having a very hard time feeling connected to -or attractive in- my body since all the medicine/diagnoses/chronic illness came to a head in November so I don't want to participate. :(
