Pleasant interaction: saw a group of teens excitedly point out a little free library and had over to it right as I was walking up with a big stack to donate. Got some "Ooh!"s and "thank yours. Nice to be reminded people do still like books.

I never quit comics. Not for a second. Comics are in my bloodstream—the storytelling, the pacing, the panel-to-panel rhythm that turns static images into something alive.

For 500 years people have been coming up with technology after technology to replace, alter or disrupt books and they have all failed because business geniuses are somehow incapable of understanding that people really like reading
