Hey, remember the "For the People Act" in the 116th congress? It passed the House and would have passed the Senate had it not been for Joe Manchin and Kirstin Sinema refusing to carve out a filibuster exception for democracy reform. Given the last 5 years, do you think those 2 still sleep at night?

My take on the recent election wins: @indivisible and local chapters, NoKings etc., and other activist organizers deserve a ton of credit. The frothiness, among progressives, churned by these organizers, drove turnout to 11 and tamped down @gop enthusiasm.

For those of you who have sent money after hearing Graham Platner (Maine) talk for 2 mins should be aware of huge problems with his campaign. He is not what he appears to be and he has lost two campaign managers in the last 5 days. They know what's coming.

I voted today in Maine. Just two questions on the ballot.
Question 1). A voter suppression question hiding behind a mask of election security (vote No on 1!)
Question 2). A Red Flag law to give us the tools to remove guns from folks that are considered dangerous. (Vote Yes on 2)!

What little power you have to sway gov’t is exerted via the institutions that you touch: your church, your union, your employer, establishments that you frequent, etc. These institutions tend to cleave to the status quo until enough (3.5%) of their individual constituents disrupt and demand change.
