Hey, remember the "For the People Act" in the 116th congress? It passed the House and would have passed the Senate had it not been for Joe Manchin and Kirstin Sinema refusing to carve out a filibuster exception for democracy reform. Given the last 5 years, do you think those 2 still sleep at night?

Head’s up folks. This is happening. Don’t spend your money at national corporations that week. Plan ahead. Shop locally, and stock up.

For those of you who have sent money after hearing Graham Platner (Maine) talk for 2 mins should be aware of huge problems with his campaign. He is not what he appears to be and he has lost two campaign managers in the last 5 days. They know what's coming.

Both sides are not the same. No Republican lawmakers are being shot, handcuffed, arrested, assaulted. This is all coming from the Republican ideologues that that are driving fear and hatred into our culture. It is not OK. Those who serve the public interest should not fear for their lives!

My local library keeps an indoor hive in plexiglass with a wall penetration so the pollinators can, well, pollinate! Educational and eco-friendly!

Today I remember my father, Robert Wicks, a Canadian Air Force captain, whose plane (a UN-marked Buffalo search and rescue transport plane) was downed by three SAMs in 1974 in Syria while on a scheduled flight from Beirut to Damascus. All 9 aboard lost their lives in the service of peace.

He did this during the presidential, and the checks he gave out were not to randomly selected people at the event, but to pre-selected wonks that he owes for one thing or another. So IF you are thinking of voting in WISC in a way that gets you in to this event, think twice: you have no shot at da $.

Outside every post office in my county this week...
March 22, 2025 at 1:17 PM
Take to the streets! Join @indivisible.org or other similar organization in your area. Today we have citizens outside post offices telling folks walking by that their USPS facility and workers are under threat. And twice a week we do this... This matters!
