EA cannot let the flight mechanics/camera system for Anthem die with that game if they have sense. Repackage that into something else. New Mass Effect maybe idk

Look, if EA wanted BioWare to have a live service IP they could milk for years on end, they should’ve given them the resources to support Anthem. EAs problem (aside from a disconnect with fans) has been robbing Peter to pay Paul. And it’s bit them in the ass every time.

Look, if EA wanted BioWare to have a live service IP they could milk for years on end, they should’ve given them the resources to support Anthem. EAs problem (aside from a disconnect with fans) has been robbing Peter to pay Paul. And it’s bit them in the ass every time.
They don’t care at all about the fandom, the devs, or the IP. All they think is that single player games will eventually stop selling, but live service games at least have the potential to continue to rake in money. It’s disgustingly greedy and creativity gets thrown under the bus each time for it.

Friendly reminder that ea still has yet to sign the SAG-AFTRA voice actors contract that involves AI protections for VAs. Really would have been helpful for the game to have their VAs promoting it, especially when one of them streams on Twitch.

Abhorrent behavior by “fans” … it’s absolutely disgusting that parts of the fandom needed reminding who is real with real feelings versus a fictional character.
Video game characters are not actually real. They don’t bleed, they can’t get their feelings hurt, they can’t be betrayed because they are a collection of pixels and code and words and sound files.
The game devs I’m lucky to work with are real people who deserve at least basic human respect.
