There is a risk here that, by the time you have consumed the out-of-date milk and suffered whatever unpleasant symptoms that might wreak upon you (or it may just reek, pun intended), your fresh milk may be out of date or close to it.

I learned German at school, but I struggled more with German than French, which I also did at school. I passed German, but I can remember little of it. The different “cases” proved challenging for me, at the time. These days, I’m fascinated by the historical cross-pollination between languages.
