I don’t think the information environment will allow for the same severity and duration of effect, but if we get even 8 years of a durable congressional majority out of it then that would do a lot of good!

CK was the closest and even he would have flailed trying to wrangle a cult of personality whose adherents are the people that rage at even minor recastings in movies.

Every time there has been speculation about someone taking up the mantle, I just don’t worry about it. Have they been on a TV show building a persona for 10 years? No? Then they don’t have it.

yeah. i got into it a few months ago and really enjoyed it until the end of the second season, which left me with more mixed feelings about the whole show.

i cannot imagine being so detached from normality that i think “imagine if your HOA knew everything about you and had a swat team” is a good way to sell my product.
