I lost my loyal walking partner unexpectedly last week, and I'm struggling, too. I'm so sorry for your loss.
I've been able to get out a few times, thanks to friends who set up a call with me in advance. Tomorrow, my neighbor is loaning me her dog. I'm trying to stay open. Hope you can, too.

I lost my dear senior pup unexpectedly on Tuesday. He had a hidden heart tumor that ruptured.
I'm trying to stay grateful that we had 11 laughter-and-love filled years together vs. 7 horrific hours. He didn't suffer & I'm not alone.
But, oh how I miss my beautiful boy!

This has been my experience, too. Bunnies are expensive, messy and need constant supervision. But they're also delightful companions...if you're up for the whole package.
