What you’re seeing in American media and more and more in Canadian media is what happens when you replace journalists with talking heads and columnists. And no amount of cheerleaders lipping off or licking boots can make up for real journalism that holds power to account.

Even our recently adopted American pup, who was saved from a Texas kill shelter and brought to Canada to live out her new Canadian life, is ashamed at what #Trump is doing to friends and allies. The orange fool has no real friends. Roxy feels sorry for him (although I’m pretty sure she’d bite him)

People seem to think that gutting public services and oversight is awesome and gonna save so much money. For what? The great grocery gouge? Businesses only care about one thing: making money for themselves. They don’t care who they hurt or kill. People who think biz will police itself are fools
If the FAA director got fired over a business beef AND there was an air traffic controller hiring freeze despite huge shortages AND a chaotic blitz to hollow out federal bureaucracy, and then within a week the first American airliner crashes in 16 years, you would be insane not to talk about it all.
