But they can lock up non-violent Just Stop Oil protestors for more than 60 years, because they are a 'danger'.

Really struck today by how many of the people most responsible for the Brexit shitshow were actively rewarded for their stupidity/dishonesty. Knighthoods, Damehoods, peerages, newspaper columns, seats in the House of Commons… It’s a mark of how deep the rot has gone into the fabric of our society.

Farage suggests he'll set up an 'unoffical inquiry into grooming gangs'.

How, how does anyone take these people seriously?
Yeh, I am sure any funds that they raise for this will be used to help the victims, and won't be entirely aimed at political points scoring and raising company funds.

Like they give a fuck about helping.

Elon Musk is starting to risk getting Jess Phillips killed. She's been safeguarding minister for six months. She oversaw nothing relating to the rape gangs. As an opposition MP she was one of the most prominent campaigners for the victims.

What he's doing is a travesty.

Why is it that Labour appears to be unwilling to cause any kind of ‘diplomatic incident’ while Trump and Musk are quite happy to be diplomatically incontinent all over the place? Would very much like our govt to protect our democracy and show some ruthless national self-respect.

Insufficient from Streeting and actually quite dangerous. Musk's comments against Phillips in particular risk her safety. Saying you're "willing to work" with him helps validate that behaviour.

Pull your finger out @uklabourparty.bsky.social, grow some balls and stop even more "corruption" destroying what's left of our democracy

Right now you have a majority the likes of which you might never see again
This is important.
'We don’t know what that company is for but if Musk did want to pour £100m into the next UK election, as it’s been reported, this is how he could do it.'
