Thanks for the correction! With K3 coming I'm wondering if they'll make an effort to put in more definitively Okinawan elements even if just for the interior
This is an Okinawan-style buchidan*, which is more Confucian and Taoist than Buddhist, though sutras are recited. Only things missing are the banana and orange, to represent the male and female principles. I wonder if there is a Hinukan shrine in the kitchen.
