The most wonderful day immersed in prehistoric textiles! Sally Pointer guided us through the history of cloth making, local plants to use and how to transform them into #cordage. We began #nalbinding (needle-binding), an endangered #heritagecraft, and made our own needles from antlers and flint!

Enjoying the way that #SpaldingBID has been playing their cards this year. They have more up their sleeve than we could ever guessed in those early days of court challenges against the founding vote. Let's hope one day we have a town centre of which we can be truly proud.
