I was hoping this would get a blu ray upgrade! A nice post-Christmas present!

Do I have too many plans for now until the end of the year? Yes. Is one of them a New Year's marathon of The Twilight Zone? Also yes.

Finally started watching Blake's 7! Only two episodes in but I'm appreciating the slow burn. I can already see why Avon is a fan favorite.

The fourteenth film for #Noirvember was True Confessions (1981). Roberts De Niro and Duvall star in a movie about family, religion, corruption, and sex trafficking. A fine film for your Thanksgiving weekend.

The thirteenth film I've seen for #Noirvember is The Silent Partner (1978). A bank teller (Elliot Gould) breaks bad and gets caught up with a bank robber (Christopher Plummer). A solid neo noir with a great cast that does get a bit nuts.

The twelfth film I've seen for #Noirvember is Crossfire (1947). Three Roberts (Young, Mitchum, and Ryan) headline this tight noir involving a murder and some soldiers. Great film!

The eleventh film I've seen for #Noirvember is The Limey (1999). Terence Stamp shines as an ex-con searching for answers of his daughter's death.
November 18, 2025 at 12:38 AM
The tenth film I've watched for #Noirvember is Shadow of a Doubt (1943). This Hitchcock thriller deals with finding out that the people you know aren't all they appear to be.

The ninth film I've watched for #Noirvember is Thief (1981). This classic neo noir put Michael Mann on the map. James Caan's character follows his code but of course things get out of his control. A required viewing for every neo noir fan.

The eight film I've seen for #Noirvember is No Country For Old Men (2007). This neo noir Western is top-tier storytelling from the Coen Brothers!
