Glad to see the Carer’s Allowance overpayments report published after raising it last week. The Government has accepted most recommendations, including reassessing cases and refunding carers who were hit by years of unclear DWP guidance. Long overdue.

Today on World Pancreatic Cancer Day, I’m highlighting Isla’s campaign in memory of her brother Tam, who died only four weeks after his diagnosis. Her 200,000-strong petition for earlier detection shows why we urgently need faster diagnosis and better support.

During today’s debate on unpaid carers, I paid tribute to the incredible work of Fife Carers, who support so many people across North East Fife and beyond. I also pressed the Government on the urgent need for proper respite breaks. #CarersRightsDay

Yesterday I highlighted a serious gap in healthcare: there is currently no specialist ME doctor or nurse anywhere in Scotland.

Everyone with ME deserves access to trained, specialist support, no matter where they live.
