It is. They're proper clutching at straws. They're convinced they will win an appeal, but I think that will be very unlikely. From what I understand, he followed everything correctly, so it would be very difficult to overturn.

It's shocking how the BBC has all of a sudden shifted it's language and reporting in such an extreme direction. It's clearly deliberate, and IMO, it's extremely dangerous-many of the public still see the BBC as the most trusted news source. Something has definitely happened to have caused this.
