Most of the time I come up empty handed when thrifting (which is fine. I'm picky). But yesterday, I had a magical day where I set out in search of a specific item for my halloween costume and found it within 5 minutes.

Did you know that in addition to your food scraps and yard waste, you can compost your fingernail clippings and hair?! Composting is required in NYC starting April 1.
To get more people to participate in its mandatory composting program, New York City plans to ramp up enforcement. Starting April 1, property owners who don’t follow the rules will be subject to fines: bit.ly/3E7ucWX

I wear a belt bag when I fly so that I have my essentials like my wallet & phone on me. In the back of my mind, I was thinking, "just in case I have to evacuate." I thought that I was being overly cautious but these days, sadly, that's not so!
