Most of the time I come up empty handed when thrifting (which is fine. I'm picky). But yesterday, I had a magical day where I set out in search of a specific item for my halloween costume and found it within 5 minutes.

Did you know that in addition to your food scraps and yard waste, you can compost your fingernail clippings and hair?! Composting is required in NYC starting April 1.

I wear a belt bag when I fly so that I have my essentials like my wallet & phone on me. In the back of my mind, I was thinking, "just in case I have to evacuate." I thought that I was being overly cautious but these days, sadly, that's not so!
