WTF. Type 2 varies a lot in how hard it may or may not be to control by diet in individual cases, but controlling type 1 by diet is just… it don’t work that way, if your pancreas doesn’t work, it doesn’t work.

i guess that use must come from french; it’s also used that way in french and belgian law. in english the common use (outside of canada) is definitely for it to mean “taking without compensation”…

that would be 9000 square centimeters but yes, that’s like nothing. and “expropriate” is a bit of a false calque from french; it’s an english word and it looks like what was no doubt the correct french word, but the common english phrase is “eminent domain”

Can’t promise it’ll work, it kinda depends on the geometry of you car, but with a bit of luck you should be able to pull on the string to close the door.

This on account of your left hand being injured? I would suggest tying a string around the window frame at the point furthest from the hinge, and then running it through the handle that’s hopefully on the inside above the door, with a small weight at the other end.
