Started with #T-Mobile prepaid 15ish years ago when they were MCNO. Really liked what they were doing for a while, let my account grow with them. Last few #ReCarrier moves did it. Giving Mint (sure, still them but also cheapest to start) a chance to show me how much less I’ll be paying for.

Welp, nothing for a screeching halt to a productive cleaning spree quite like opening the box with mementos of your dead baby. Time for a couch and sudoku break. #LifeAfterStillbirth #Year5

In most series, personal tragedy turns into a dark form of art - which I also adore and deeply appreciate. I think this is the first, maybe only, where hard choices - and the choice is an important piece of it - build people up beautifully instead of destroying them interestingly. #KushielsLegacy

Personal connections to the supernatural, handled beautifully, pair with mundane relationships to drive decisions. I’d never thought about the one character with purely mundane ties in terms of lacking divine motivations. How Carey turns personal tragedy into beauty is… art. #KushielsLegacy

A theme of personal sacrifice, but not really of life or limb - a tale of the ways we choose to let go of parts of ourselves that were once vital to our sense of self for love. Not lust, not fancy, but the deep love that becomes part of our sense of self because of what it builds. #KushielsLegacy

It’s been a long time since I revisited Kushiel’s Dart. It’s such a fascinating story, a world full of eroticism but relatively little detail in actual sex scenes. A broad political story entirely centered on the personal relationships that drive the bigger picture. #KushielsLegacy #PhèdresTrilogy

At least he bothered to acknowledge that his parking job was “a little off.” It sounds petty, but I kinda needed that win today. Maybe next time he’ll open with “I ‘m sorry my parking is shitty, but…”

Nah, probably not.

Right after I got to point out a different man that yes, HIS tires on my side of the parking line were why he couldn’t get into his car. The condescension of “If it’s a problem for you to back out…” and “Is there a problem?” when I gestured toward his OBVIOUSLY shit-parked car. 🙄

Just realized and confirmed that the type of man who absolutely REFUSES to go though a door a woman is holding open because “Ladies first” is also the type of man who won’t call out your age or argue aesthetics when you insist “Age before beauty.”

Back home after a week in Austin. Fantastic time, love the fam beyond words, but also strangely nice to be home in bed.

…now if I could just get to sleep instead of worrying about the doctor appointment in 5 hours. Not even my appointment! 😅

Red One does a remarkable job of taking itself seriously. I can see why it would do poorly in theaters, though, definitely a solid family night movie. Had a blast!
