The only way to tell what emotions it is feeling is to carefully look at the colors glowing in its gem. Experienced trainers become very good at understanding what their Starmie is feeling, but strangers usually think they are emotionless creatures.

Its tough outer layer resembles hard plastic when it tightens its muscles, but becomes softer and more flexible when it needs to move.

I think getting Grok to do this and make Musk miserable is an okay excuse to be there.

When not travelling upstream to breed, it lives in lakes or estuaries. It uses its horn to dig up soft-bodied pokemon like Wigglet and to defend itself against Gyarados and other predators.

Because of its beauty, many people try to keep it in aquariums or ponds. However, it refuses to be contained and will either drill its way out or flop its way to a river to escape.

The male Seadra makes a nest among the densest parts of coral reefs. When resting, he keeps his spikes facing away from the eggs so that anything approaching needs to push past him first.

During storms, they leap from the water and flap their fins in excitement. Nobody is sure why.

They are known to use their cute looks to beg for fish. If you don't feed them your tastiest morsel, they may spray you with ink instead.

The species has no males. It is uncertain how they reproduce, but whenever a child grows up and leaves, another one appears in the pouch within a month.

It hides in shrubbery and wags a single tentacle in the open. When a Pidgey thinks it is a worm and tries to grab it, it instead becomes prey.

It enjoys being hidden and will move objects around its trainer's home to create a fort.

Chansey's dense body sinks easily. When threatened, it will jump into water and sink to the bottom, walking out when the predator leaves. It makes its nest near the water, guarding its fertile eggs by offering the nutritious one it holds instead. It often befriends more dangerous Pokemon for safety.

It has become clever enough to make itself quite the nuisance. It is nearly impossible to make a dumpster that they cannot break into with a combination of their tough horn and cleverness. This has become a problem in Alola, where they come down from the volcanos looking for food.

With a small brain and weak eyes, its first response to anything it sees moving is often a charge. However, it recognizes its trainer by scent and tries to control its charge. However, it still often knocks them over in its excitement.

Rarely, the smaller body breaks off and becomes a new Koffing. When this happens, a new one immediately begins to bud from Wheezing's skin.

By churning gas between its two bodies, it can create more potent toxins than Koffing.
November 5, 2025 at 12:24 AM
Before the invention of industry, Koffing was most common in volcanoes, where it swallowed up the poisonous gasses coming from the earth. Now that pollution has begun to decrease, they are mostly found in their original homes again

Lickitung marks its territory by licking rocks and trees. If it tastes the mark of another Lickitung, it retches and gags. Apparently they cannot stand one another's saliva.

Despite its fearsome nature, it mostly feeds on plants. When desperate, it punches apart trees to eat their pulp.

With its extensible legs and excellent balance, Hitmonlee is an excellent climber. While native to remote mountains, they sometimes climb buildings in major cities, stealing the eggs of bird Pokemon and making their own lairs high off the ground.

Ah, a classic.

Marowak builds eerie nests out of bones in lonely places. This often attracts ghost types, who help to drive off predators. It is otherwise a fiercely solitary Pokemon and tries to void even others of its own kind.

It is known that Cubone is the child of another species of Pokemon that has lost its mother, but it is often argued which Pokemon it originates from. Some have theorized that many Pokemon can take this form as a survival mechanism if needed, including Kangaskhan and Charmander.
