Once again I am looking for something really niche and am turning to the crowd. Does anyone know of a good place/way to make a map in the style of a battle map circa first half of the 19th Century of a fictional place? Here is a rough example of what I mean.
A map of a countryside. The map is based on part of Southern Bavaria but is factionalized. It is in a style to be useful to navigate the area as a military commander might find useful.

I have seen this a few times and want to comment on it. There are exactly zero days in history when Mexico owned all of this land. New Spain also never owned all of this land at the same time. This map is a lie that mixes together at least 3 separate points in history.

One of the things I think I am very good at with painting miniatures is stained glass windows. I’ve got some touch up to do and the frames need to be painted gold, but other than that I think I do a great job.

For many reasons I think the people behind this are deeply unserious about actual change. There are no details, no time before noon with a place to gather to show a unified front, I doubt there are escape routes planned, just “50 protests in 50 states.” Continued

I hate this map. I hate it because it looks like it could be correct but it’s sloppy and wrong. First off, Coke is not sold in Cuba or North Korea. I also know for a fact that Coke is not the most popular brand in Peru. Inca Kola is, and in Peru, Coca Cola does not have any control of Inca Kola.

This post is a great showing of why I block or mute everyone I see use terms like “chad” in this way. I am trying to teach the YouTube algorithm that using “chad” esp. “gigachad” in titles or thumbnails means I don’t want to see it, even if everything else implies I would.
