I don’t understand: these people don’t care. Why would any of them lose their jobs over this? They’re playing the long game on everything, understanding that the opposition is so weak that it will get distracted by something else while they plow through with destroying the constitutional framework.
Surely Hegseth and Waltz are toast? In any normal administration he’d have resigned yesterday; in any normal administration he’d be fired today.

But this isn’t a normal administration so let’s see.

For 250 years, we’ve sanitized Forced Labor Camps as ‘plantations’ and ‘estates.’ Calling concentration camps ‘housing’ is just another word game to shield the oppressors.
In the 20th century, they were known as "concentration camps." Now, they are simply called "housing."

Doesn't that sound so much more humane? Voila, problem solved!
