Any and every time Shen Yuan attributes a vision, emotion, or inclination to a hypothetical outsider, what he means (but doesn't admit he means) is that he is absolutely doing that exact thing BUT he wants whatever batshit thing he is doing to be Normal and Correct.
Back in the day, artists used to go study the paintings of earlier artists and make copies of them while learning to paint. This was not plagiarism, because the PROCESS of the copying was the point and it was inherently interpretative, AND because they didn't pretend their work was original.

This does not seem to have been true for me, but I am overseas and had also turned off smart features already.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Man, rereading Mobei Jun's appearance after the New Extra really brings home just how much Airplane actually DID break his own worldbuilding and story for his favorite. This man strolled into the plot FIVE HUNDRED CHAPTERS EARLY, from all appearances just because Airplane was there and he got bored.

Rereading SVSSS to take some more notes, and hang on a second... What do you MEAN they HAVE Message/Sending (voice transferral spells) but never ever seem to use them?!

The delightful and troublesome thing about getting comments on my old WIPs is that it makes me reread my own work and go, "Wait, yeah... This is awesome, I totally want to read more of this! ...What do you mean I have to WRITE it?!"

I think the during-canon system would absolutely have killed shen qingqiu—not just for disobedience, but because of bingzu's own bitterness over the outcome. because the child sqq would be saving is so foreign to bingzu as to be a completely different person.
