Coyote Time (letting the player jump a bit after they leave the ground) is huge for gamefeel.

Combine with Jump Buffer (executing a jump once they land if they pressed it a bit early) to maximize.

Bonus: spawn the jump particle at the last grounded position to hide the coyote time :)

participated in a speedrun contest for @unsentgames.bsky.social and when a fellow runner discovered a route-shattering OOB strategy 50 minutes before the deadline the race was on and at literally 11:59pm I hit this run

Spent a bit over a week putting something very silly together for the Eridium s&box Showcase! Been very happy with the reception to it!
