On a fundamental level, Mamdani won because he had a great platform focused on affordability, great videos, fun events, a devoted group of 100,000+ canvassers, and importantly, he clearly loves NYC and its people. It's a mystery where Cuomo and Adams live and they both clearly disdain many residents

So much you can say about his legendary performance in RAN but one thing I'll always think of is how he managed to nail his performance in one of the riskiest shots in film history - a huge character moment as he walks away from the castle set that they are literally burning down behind him

As much as YOJIMBO and SANJURO are showcases for Toshiro Mifune's charisma, they don't really work without a titan on the other side of the story, and it's hard to think of other actors who could've matched Mifune' energy the way Nakadai did.
